I’m a Toronto based Web Architect & Front End Developer specialized in Semantic Markup, Usability and Accessibility, Organic SEO and all things inherited from the proper use of Web Standards.

Web Architecture is about more than just web design—traditionally understood as graphic design for the Web—but rather the understanding and differentiation of how things work behind the scenes (i.e. servers, databases, programming principles and frameworks, new & evolving technologies, etc.), so they can be effectively integrated to make the user interaction as intuitive and unobtrusive as possible.

I believe the first purpose of design is to solve problems, not to decorate environments. You know you’ve experienced good design when you don't have to think about the interaction—it should be instinctive.

As the Lead Web Architect & Front End Developer at Hypenotic, my full time job for past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on many exciting projects—ranging from simple Web sites for small businesses, to social applications for political parties, to intranet systems for big advertising agencies.

All my knowledge has been acquired through experience rather than traditional curricula. Over the years I've worked on several projects, both freelance and on more traditional environments.
